Day 1
READING: Psalm 15: 1-4, A Psalm of David
1 Lord, who can live in your sacred tent? Who can stay on your holy hill?2 Anyone who lives without blame and does what is right. He speaks the truth from his heart.3 He doesn't tell lies about others. He doesn't do wrong to his neighbors. He doesn't say anything bad about them.4 He hates sinful people. He honors those who have respect for the Lord. He keeps his promises even when it hurts.
DEVOTIONAL
Integrity is a character quality of someone who has sound moral judgment. They don't compromise truth. They deal honestly with others. Integrity can only be achieved by listening to the Holy Spirit. Integrity is something that you prove you have during difficult situations. It is being able to make the right decision even though it may cost you something. If know in your heart that you made the right decision, you don't have to worry about getting caught or exposed. Walking with integrity is one of the best ways to prove that you are become more mature in your walk with Jesus. PRAYER
Lord, I ask that you help me make the right decisions while at school and work today. Send your Spirit to help inspire me and motivate me to walk in integrity even when it's hard. Help me be an example to my friends, family, and strangers while I follow you, Jesus, today and forever.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen. *Take a few minutes to think about today's devotional.*
