When we remember Jesus, let’s do it big! As a Christian, please be mindful that your relationship with God should be personal. Remember your praise is your weapon, so use it! Don’t be ashamed of what God has done for you. Know that whatever you went through, whether it is peer pressure, bullying, or physical abuse, He still wants to use YOU. I believe that once we have come out of our “valley experience,” we should we should share it with others so that we can grow from it. Sometimes sharing our testimonies can save someone’s life.
2 Timothy 2:15 (TNIV) says, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
Spiritual growth is a never-ending journey in your relationship with God. Growth comes in many different ways. Here are a few:
1. By increasing your knowledge and understanding of God's Word.
2. By increasing your practice of Christ-like qualities through words, deeds and disciplines.
3. By increasing your faith and trust in God.
During this summer I challenge each of you to reignite your passion for God! Start reading your Bible, praying more, and monitoring what you say and do. It will help you Grow, Glow, and Go for Christ.
